Helping finance Mexico's
rural economy

background

ID Financiero is a Mexican corporation that aims to provide micro-credits for rural areas to improve people in need lives. They already had market traction and required an ERP-automated SaaS to manage all their complex operations.

the problem

Too much paperwork

A complex ERP for B2B/B2C micro-credits that anyone can use and manage

Users study

Talking to them

To understand the pain points, I interviewed 6 team members and 4 customers that are already on the platform.

Users study

I came up with the following conclusions

They needed to remove bottlenecks and reduce errors and data loss, all while increasing transparency, communication across departments, and processing speed.

The internal validation process for each loan was very complex, with several team members interacting. Automatisation of the validation process will give the optimisation they needed.

UX

Before I went on to sketch
the screens I worked on the user personas

Wireframes

Then to understand how
things are going to look I turned to wireframing

solution

UX that helped all user personas understand the tool and engage with it in their experience of use

Business Dashboard

Adding a dashboard allows data to be summarized visually and easy to digest and share with other stakeholders.

Quoter

A quoter was added to narrow the process into steppers.

Footprint

The platform will register every time a team member validates any of the determined tasks

Validation System

The main feature that the platform needed was the validation journey.

design

A Design System to maintain consistency
